Nyk King

is a Horror/Sci-Fi/Fantasy author and Asian brush painting artist living in Virginia, USA. Since elementary school, Nyk has been morbidly fascinated with macabre tales (starting with the Scary Stories trilogy by Alvin Schwartz), captivated by epic fantasy movies like The Dark Crystal and The Labyrinth, and empathic with mad scientists more than heroes (early faves were Bunsen and Beaker, perhaps indicating an unhealthy obsession with puppets), all of which continue to fuel Nyk’s passion for writing today. 

Nyk is accompanied through life by a partner, two children, two cats, and more bicycles in the garage than seems reasonable.  A Stunning New Look is Nyk’s first published story; a full-length novel entitled Nümanity™ is currently underway.
